Newly crowned ALMS GT1 Champion, Oliver Gavin, started his Laguna Seca weekend in style with a small `burn out' in central Monterey.

The occasion was a meeting at the `Mucky Duck' pub of the BadBoyVettes group of fans and the Corvette team brought the #4 car from the track to downtown to give the fans something to cheer about. Olly took the car from one side of a car park to another, with lots of smoke and noise, drawing to a close just in front of the pub's entrance. It was short but spectacular!

These loyal supporters of the GM Chevy Corvettes have been following the team for some years and their distinctive logo has been adopted by the team for this race. The cars are newly liveried in a distinctive black and yellow design with the `skull' logo, called `Jake', featuring prominently.
