2 Hours 55 Minutes - Penalty confirmed.  It's #3 in first place and #4 in second in GT1!

2 Hours 45 Minutes - It's raining heavily!  Olivier Beretta crosses the line to win GT1!!!  But there might be a penalty .............. waiting to hear.

2 Hours 42 Minutes - It's a 'splash and dash' for both Corvettes and Olivier makes it out just ahead of Ron!! 

2 Hours 35 Minutes - It's the run to the flag now and no change.  Olivier has settled in 5 seconds behind Ron.  It's raining quite heavily around the back of the circuit but with just 10 minutes to go ...

2 Hours - Olivier has maintained his position right behind Ron.  There's just a hint of rain .........

1 Hour 20 Minutes - There is a third full course caution as the Maserati goes off, tipped into the gravel by the #2 Audi.  Both Corvettes take the opportunity to come into the pits and make driver changes.  The #3 car gets out ahead of the #4 so Ron is about 0.5 seconds ahead of Olivier.

1 Hour - We've just finished our second full course yellow flag of the race.  During the first yellow (about 20 minutes) both Corvettes came in for fuel but no tyres.  Oliver is second in GT1 just behind the Saleen which gained ground during the yellow flag pit stops.

The race is underway.  Oliver has slotted the #4 Corvette in eighth place overall and is heading the GT1 class.  Johnny O'Connell is about 3 seconds behind, 2nd in GT1 and 9th overall.  The Maserati had to start from the back of the grid after some tyre changes after qualifying and has already tangled with the Carsport Viper.  As a result the MC12 has a stop and go penalty.
