Third on the Grid at the Rolex 24
Max Papis secured third place on the Rolex 24 at Daytona grid for the #66 Krohn Racing/TRG Riley Pontiac that he is sharing with Oliver Gavin and Jorg Bergmeister.  Max recorded a time of 1m 47.166s in the Thursday's first qualifying session, which sets the top 30 places on the grid, less than a quarter of a second off pole position.

The drivers were delighted to be at the front of the field and are now setting about race preparation, practicising the teamwork that will be needed for the gruelling 24 hour event.

Oliver commented, "We're pleased with the time Max set and that we will be at the front of the field at the start.  However, this is a long distance race and excellent teamwork, consistency and reliability now come into play.  Having said that the team are up for it and all working hard.  The Krohn Racing/TRG team have all done an excellent job in getting us to this point and we're determined to take the fight to the opposition in the race."

"I have to say I'm really enjoying this.  I've done Daytona once before and was always keen to come back again.  I have to thank Krohn Racing/TRG for the opportunity and for the great driver line-up we have.  Saturday and Sunday will be tough but we're starting from a great grid position."
