"I wonder when lady luck will return to us in the No 4 car?  She certainly wasn't with us at Lime Rock Park on Saturday!  I completed the first stint and managed to stay ahead of Jan (Magnussen) taking something like a six second lead into the stops.  Our stop took a little longer than the No 3 car as our sensors were showing that we needed to top up with gearbox oil but Olivier (Beretta) still managed to come out ahead of Johnny (O'Connell).  During the second safety car period the leader was between us and the No.3 car effectively giving us nearly a lap lead and we thought our luck had changed.  However, because of the gearbox issue we ended up making more stops in the last hour than planned.  The No 3 car made up the ground and got past us and then we were further delayed by the problem, eventually finishing second.

"It was still a Corvette 1-2 but it is so frustrating that things are just running against us at the moment.  We were certainly the faster car out there in the race, Olivier drove fantastically again, but the victory slipped from our grasp.  Their win takes Jan and Johnny 12 points ahead of us in the championship but we will battle all the way hopefully starting at Mid-Ohio next weekend!"
