MIL MIHAS PREVIEW

Oliver and Olivier, fresh from their ALMS triumph at Laguna Seca, head to Brazil for the final round of the LMS Championship.  They are both driving the Luc Alphand Aventures Corvette C6.R sharing with Patrice Gouselard, who will become GT1 champion if they win on Saturday.

The Mil Mihas is a 1000 mlie race (374 laps of Interlagos) that will start at 12.00 noon local time and finish in the dark around 11.00 at night!  This classic event first ran in 1956 and has become a regular on the South American endurance racing calendar.  This is the first year it has become part of the Le Mans Series, indeed, the final round.

Olly said, "I guess this is a bit of an end of season 'sign-off' for Olivier and I.  We are really here to help Patrice win the driver's championship.  I really enjoyed my last outing with the team at Silverstone in September and although we didn't get the result we deserved or wanted, we plan to put that right in Brazil.

"There are only two cars in our class here (Olivier and I are used to that!) but I'm sure it will be a good race with the Larbre Aston Martin."

The race will be covered live in the UK on Motors TV with coverage starting at 1.45 pm and finishing at 1.00 am on Sunday morning in the UK!
