"I'm very happy with way today's gone, really good qualifying and Olivier managed to get the car on pole position. It was a tough session and Johnny was quick for the first two or three laps and then Olivier banged in a lap just before the red flag came out. I think Dominik Farnbacher in the Panoz had gone off and hit the wall pretty hard in Turn 9 and they were trying to clear that up so it was red flagged.
"We've been quick all weekend, quickest in every session, and Olivier has been very happy with the car. I'm delighted that we're coming here for the very last race in GT1 in the ALMS and we're starting on pole and at the front and hopefully we're going to be able to come away with a victory and put our names in the history books for scoring Corvette Racing's last GT1 victory in the ALMS. It would be pretty special.
"I'm looking forward to the race tomorrow; it's looking as though it will be fine. It's an unusual race - just 100 minutes long - and presents quite a unique strategy. One pit stop, one driver change and one tyre change. You've got to make sure that pit stop really works and you're bang on it. The guys have been practising hard and Olivier and I have been practising driver changes as well to make sure that we can get it all running smoothly and quickly so we stand a better chance of the victory tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it."
