Oliver recorded his 15th ALMS class pole position, and his first at Lime Rock Park, with a lap of 52.792s (102.288 mph).  He finished around a quarter of a second ahead of the sister No.3 Corvette driven by Jan Magnussen who  recorded a time of 53.039s.

Oliver was delighted, "Olivier (Beretta) and I have had our share of rough luck during the first half of the season and hopefully we can change that around now.  This was a good qualifying result for the crew of the No.4 Corvette, we just need to turn it into a win tomorrow and set about chasing our teammates for the championship title."

The pair are currently eight points behind in the standings and will be looking to add to their three victories at Lime Rock over the last four years.
