OLIVER COMPLETES LONDON MARATHON

Oliver completed the London Marathon yesterday in a time of 3 hours 9 minutes & 31 seconds.  He just missed his target time but with training curtailed a little recently he was still delighted with the result!  He has raised £1671 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to date and would like to thank everyone who has generously sponsored him for this really worthwhile cause.  If you haven't already done so there is still time to donate at www.justgiving.com/olivergavin.

The conditions were reasonably favourable, cool but with the odd shower of rain!  He confirmed that he still feels he has a sub 3 hour marathon in him, he just needs a few more races under his belt!

We have a couple of photographs posted on the website but if anyone else has any photos or videos of Oliver from the marathon and is happy for us to post them, please send them to us.

It's no rest for him now though.  He is already on his way to California for the next round of the American Le Mans Series at Long Beach on Saturday.  This is the second consecutive street circuit race and he and Olivier are hoping to repeat their recent GT1 win around the streets of St Petersburg.  We will have more news about this event on the website later in the week.

Thank you again to all those who supported Oliver's marathon!
